An ever-so-useful everyday bag of a carry-everywhere size. And the soft and squishy Italian vegetable-tanned leather. A pocket on the front to put all your important things. Ever so clever Kate.

New for AW23, the Carob Scout bag in brown is a utilitarian-inspired double-flap crossbody bag for all your everyday belongings. It features a lower pocket with a built-in gusset, and both flaps close with a secure popper fastening of beautiful, bright brass.

In the most deliciously compact and carriable size: Length 20cm x Width 2.3cm x Height 15cm. The Carob Scout bag is unlined for a natural finish, with a leather cord shoulder strap of the perfect length.

Made from vegetable-tanned leather, a natural material that will age with time and wear to create a beautiful patina. This is due to the natural process of dying using plant based tannins, rather than harmful chemicals. Lighter and brighter colours will darken slightly as a part of this process. Please note darker colours may transfer onto light colours.

Vegetable tanned leather is full of character and depending on which part of the skin a bag is cut from, each one will be slightly different in texture, and beautifully unique. We recommend keeping your bag looking fresh by occasionally treating it with leather food, to moisturise and protect.

Designed by Kate in her home of East London, and crafted by skilled makers in the North of England, Kate Sheridan’s designs are the best of British, through and through.

Britain’s decision to leave the EU means significantly increased admin & shipping costs. Whilst we have passed on as little cost as possible to our customers, unfortunately, we have had to impose a minimum order value of £200 for orders from the EU. We are very sorry for this.

YBD Finds is responsible for the goods until the point of delivery as stipulated in the original order. If the customer instigates a change to this delivery arrangement through direct contact with the delivery company, they assume responsibility from this point.
